Synagogue Chowk - A Lifetime Achivement

The opening ceremony of the SYNAGOGUE CHOWK was held on Tuesday 4th June 2002 at 6:00 p.m. at our Synagogue where the Consul General of Israel Mr. Dov Segev Steinberg along with the Mayor of Thane Mrs. Sharada Raut, the Municipal Commissioner Mr. K. P. Bakshi and other dignitaries were present for the naming & dedication ceremony.

The ceremony was attended by over 1000 people of various faiths and representing various political parties & Jews from the city of Thane, Mumbai & India.
